Window Fitter (UPVC)

Overview

Window Fitter – Are you a professional window fitter / joiner looking for a stable career in a nationwide company fitting windows, doors and garage doors?

We are seeking experienced window fitters and joiners to join a nationwide window and door repair and replacement business that has serviced blue-chip insurance companies since 1986. Due to expansion, we are recruiting experienced, skilled Window Fitters and Joiners living in the Stockton area.

Responsibilities

• Removing old windows and doors using hand and power tools.
• Taking measurements for new fittings and making bespoke changes.
• Fixing windows, doors, and other products.
• Clearing away materials after the job is finished.
• Repairing and replacing products as the customer requests.
• Training and supporting assistant window fitters.

Qualifications

• Experience fitting windows, doors, garage doors and conservatories (experience with garage doors is advantageous but not essential).
• Ideally NVQ Level 2 in Fenestration and MTC Training.
• Trustworthy with the ability to work on their own initiative on site.
• Health & safety conscious.
• Driving licence is essential.

Salary

A competitive salary up to £33,800 (£650+ per week) plus monthly bonus approximately £100–£150 per week. Further career advancement alongside ongoing training and development.

This is a full-time PAYE career with fast-track progression, not a temporary contract.
