The Client:
One of VWA's clients in the education sector is looking for a temporary Recruitment & Onboarding Assistant to start ASAP and support until the end of September 2025.
The Role:
- Act as the first point of contact for candidate queries during recruitment
- Support interview coordination, including scheduling and candidate communication
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and assist with onboarding tasks
- Provide general HR administrative support, including updating systems and handling queries
- Assist with reporting, data entry, and learning & development administration
The successful Recruitment & Onboarding Assistant will have:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Experience in HR or recruitment, or a genuine interest in starting a career in HR
- Great interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate effectively with staff, applicants, and new starters
- A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
- Immediate availability and able to commit to a temp role until the end of September
- Ideally have a CIPD level 3 or be in the process of completing this
