Transition Project Manager Banking IT / Technology £700 – £730 pd Inside IR35 umbrella rate c. 8 month contract Central London Candidates must be prepared to work 5 days in the office, although this may not be required for some time. A leading organisation in the banking sector is seeking an experienced Transition Project Manager to oversee and deliver significant transformation initiatives. This role involves managing the transition of high-value services or capabilities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and effective delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage transformation projects with a strong focus on change management and stakeholder engagement. Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Ensure change management best practices are integrated into all project activities. Oversee internal and external communications to support project success. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to secure support and manage expectations. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across multiple workstreams. Track progress using established project management methodologies and reporting tools. Optimise resource allocation and drive project benefits to ensure effective delivery. Ensure necessary training and processes are in place to support successful transitions. Capture lessons learned and apply them to future projects. Skills & Experience: Proven experience leading and delivering complex transformation projects. Strong background in managing multi-phase projects and service transitions. Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and tools. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and risk management skills. Experience in environments involving technology or operational change is preferred.
