What’s the role?
You’ll be joining the operations team, playing a key role in the growing and harvesting of crops. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be operating a range of modern agricultural machinery and supporting the wider farm team with day-to-day field operations. You’ll be using precision farming equipment, contributing to regenerative farming practices, and helping to maintain the high standards Varfell is known for. From cultivations to spraying and planting, you’ll be involved in every stage of the process.
What do I need?
- Proven experience as a tractor driver in a commercial farming environment
- Experience with workshop and machinery maintenance
- Hands-on knowledge of precision farming equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence
- PA1, PA2, PA4, and telehandler certificates are desirable but not essential
