Fraser Edwards are currently hiring for a Gas Engineer for our client who are a well-respected construction contractor that undertake all property-related works on MOD Properties across the Colchester and surrounding area. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business.
Main Duties:
- Experience carrying out response maintenance repairs to domestic boilers/systems in occupied and void properties
- Proven experience of undertaking all aspects of domestic gas and plumbing repairs
- Completing gas safety inspections within tenanted and void properties
- Testing checks and stopping leaks
- Landlord Safety Checks
- Emergency Repairs
- Fault Finding
Ideal Candidate:
- Full UK Driving License
- ACS Gas Safe - CCN1, CENTWAT1, CRK1, HTR1
This role will include a call-out rota, which is 1 in every 4 weeks:
- You will receive a standby fee, paid per day
- All call outs paid at x1.5 hourly rate door to door
- No more than 4 - 6 call outs which normally occur before 10pm and after 6am
