Our client, a multinational leader in the utilities sector, has an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical and data management skills to join their procurement excellence team and support the wider procurement function during a significant period of transformation. This is a brilliant opportunity for a proactive individual who loves problem solving to use their analytical and data management skills to support the effective delivery of procurement for the group.

You will act as a first line point of contact for the business with regard to procurement queries, will coordinate supplier onboarding, complete supplier assurance checks as well as provide other administrative support to the team.

You will work closely with category managers to use the data to create efficiencies, carry out audits and present regular reporting. We are looking for someone with excellent IT skills who can manage a variety of systems and work with the wider procurement team to resolve problems cross-functionally and with suppliers.

In turn, this is an opportunity for someone to develop their career within a large procurement function, as part of a national organisation. You must be able to demonstrate previous data analysis and reporting skills, and experience working in a procurement team is highly desirable but not essential.
