A civil and structural practice with multiple offices UK wide with a heavy influence in the maritime sector requires a Civil and Structural Maritime Engineer to join them due to a number of significant project wins.

This firm is involved with projects across the UK and internationally and are looking for a Civil and Structural Maritime Engineer who has design experience in relation to maritime structures (ports, harbours, jetties, quay walls etc.).

The successful Maritime Engineer must have a good understanding of civil and structural design and will be degree qualified. Ideally, applicants should have a minimum of 5 years experience as a maritime engineer. Engineers without direct maritime experience, but have solid heavy civil design experience (bridge, tunnel, temporary works, underground structures etc.) will still be much considered.

Your role will be a varied one including design of maritime infrastructure (offshore and onshore). Our client is keen for any candidates to demonstrate they are working towards achieving Chartership, if they have not already achieved this.

On offer is a base salary of £45,000 to £60,000 depending on experience with a generous benefits package. Hybrid working conditions can be offered.
