Luxury Travel Consultant required for a well-established tour operator based in Hertfordshire who specialise in luxury tailor-made trips mainly in France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. You will be delivering bespoke holidays for clients and be the point of contact throughout the entirety of their trip. The role is Monday-Friday on a hybrid basis and a salary of between £32,000 to £40,000 basic (dependent on salary) and a generous commission scheme.
Responsibilities:
- Taking enquiries via phone, email and live chat and designing their tailor-made itinerary
- Liaising with suppliers including hotels, wineries, guides, restaurants and transport providers
- Producing detailed itinerary quotes via the booking system
- Pre and post trip communication and resolving any issues that may arise during the trip
- Visiting and assessing new hotels, vineyards and restaurants on familiarisation trips
Skills required:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- MS Office - Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
