IMH Recruitment are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Manager to manage commercial vehicle maintenance and repair workshops for our client in Leeds.

Duties:

  • Managing commercial vehicle maintenance in the Fleet Depot.
  • Provide a lead in the management and delivery of a customer focussed, safe, efficient, and comprehensive repairs and maintenance services.
  • Work closely with the Fleet General Manager in supporting with the strategic management of the fleet operations.
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained in line with Operator Licence obligations and the service is compliance with all statutory and regulatory guidelines including DVSA, Road Traffic Act and Health and Safety at Work Act.
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices for repair and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.

Experience:

  • Proven management experience in a workshop environment with strong mechanical knowledge.
  • Experience of managing in a Vehicle Fleet role or similar.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Experience in training or supervising staff is an advantage.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Hours & Pay:

  • Monday - Friday (Hours to be confirmed at interview stage)
  • £23.17 Per Hour.
