A React and Node.js senior engineer is needed for a software vendor that builds cross-asset trading systems. The FinTech is building from the ground up a best-in-class, click & trade, external facing, latency sensitive trading application, using React on the front end and a mix of Node.js and C#/.NET on the back end.
As a React and Node.js senior, your role will be to assess the current build, working closely with the lead engineer to redesign parts of the system and lead from the front in terms of the build. You will be responsible for developing new features for the public website and client portal, which are built on React and Node.js.
This React + Node Full-Stack developer role is paying up to £130,000 + bonus + benefits. Located in London City, St Paul’s, with 3 days per week from the office.
Responsibilities of the senior React.JS + Node.js Engineer:- Designing, coding, and testing all components of modern web applications.
- Contributing to the overall architecture and design of the technology created/maintained by the delivery team.
- Developing web trading applications using Node.js, ReactJS, Cypress, Jest, React Testing Library, Jenkins, AG Grid, React Hooks.
- Developing solutions to a high standard that is maintainable, testable and meets the requirements’ acceptance criteria.
- Adhering to development best practices and processes.
- Communicating with team members, introducing ideas, and keeping abreast of the latest technologies.
