A market leading Lloyd's insurance business are looking for an Expense Finance Business Partner to join the business where you will be supporting the Head of Expenses with the monthly Expense reporting and annual budgeting process.
The main responsibilities for this position will be to:
- Collaboration with function heads to ensure both actual and budgeted spend are understood and agreed.
- Assisting the head of expenses in collaborating with the business to generate the expense budget.
- Responsible for delivery of a timely and accurate monthly expense closes including oversight of outsourced providers.
- Production of accurate monthly expense reports for various functions to compare actuals vs plan including variance analysis and commentary.
- To business partner with stakeholders across underwriting and operations to ensure that relevant.
- Ad-hoc work/projects as and when required.
The successful candidate will need to have prior FP&A/Business Partnering experience, ideally focused on expenses. The candidate will also need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and ideally have prior experience in insurance with strong communication skills.
