Facilities Engineer required for a large and leading global manufacturer specialising in injection moulding based in Kidlington. We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to assist in the day-to-day maintenance of our site, covering buildings, utilities, compliance, and manufacturing operations. This role will also contribute to the delivery of internal projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Facilities Engineer Job Overview

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on building infrastructure and machinery to a high standard
  • Complete Facilities Job Requests in line with SLA targets, with priority given to health and safety concerns
  • Support and execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and completed tasks
  • Assist in both Facilities-led and cross-departmental projects
  • Participate in internal training and development programs related to the role
  • Ensure sufficient inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
  • Oversee and coordinate on-site work carried out by external contractors
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed to support wider business objectives

Facilities Engineer Job Requirements

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science
  • Recognised electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds, BTEC National, or equivalent in electrical engineering
  • Prior experience in a facilities or electrical engineering role
  • Strong technical and engineering abilities
  • Good analytical skills with effective fault diagnosis capability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certificate (preferred)
  • IPAF Licence (preferred)
  • ECS Card for Installation Electricians (preferred)
