The Finance Lead role oversees key financial processes, including debt management, utility reviews, and supervision of finance assistants’ work on tasks such as the purchase ledger, payment runs, and accruals. This role also involves managing the fixed asset register, supporting management account preparation, and identifying process improvements to enhance team efficiency and accuracy. Creative working environment. Key responsibilities:Team Supervision & Support? Oversee the finance assistants’ work on the purchase and sales ledgers.? Supervise the payment run prepared by the finance assistants.? Oversee accruals and prepayments prepared by the finance assistants.? Supervise the finance assistants by reviewing their tasks for accuracy and serving as their primary point of contact for any queries.? Carry out the finance assistants’ duties in their absence.Financial Management & Compliance? Manage credit control and the debtors process, including liaising with residents, collectors and legal teams on recovering bad debt.? Conducting six-monthly utility reviews (with support from the management accountant).? Manage the fixed asset register, including posting monthly depreciation.?
