A leading UK Project Management Consultancy in the Construction industry has a new opening for an Information Manager. The role is hybrid, based out of Taunton, Somerset, and pays up to £70,000 + benefits.
About the Role: As a Configuration & Information Manager, you will lead information and data governance on a high-profile infrastructure project in the South West of England.
Key Information Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a Configuration Management Strategy aligned with public sector standards
- Act as Information Manager, ensuring compliance with BIM Level 2+ protocols
- Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE), user access, and governance
- Maintain the Information Delivery Plan (IDP) and master document register
- Conduct verification audits and ensure data integrity
- Support procurement with up-to-date BIM and information requirements
- Lead onboarding and training on configuration and information systems
- Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
Desired Experience:
- Experience in configuration and information management within large scale infrastructure projects
- Knowledge or experience of using various Common Data Environments (CDE)
- Knowledge of experience of working with ISO 19650 standards and information management frameworks
- Experience in tools and technology such as BIM, SharePoint, Viewpoint, Aiste, ProjectWise
- Strong communication and presentation skills
