The Pre-Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing, driving, and supporting pre-sales technical activities and commercial strategies for the wireless electronic access control solutions within the DAS portfolio, marketed by Abloy UK. This role involves identifying and nurturing robust business relationships with System Integrators, Software Partners, OEMs, and End Users. SMARTair and Aperio are key components of the broader Digital Access Solutions (DAS) portfolio of Abloy UK.
You would also:
- Assist Regional Specification and DAS Business Development Managers in all technical pre-sales activities to drive the specification of Abloy Wireless EAC Solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the OEM Partner Manager to support all technical activities with OEM partners of the Aperio portfolio.
- Coordinate technical activities for onboarding new technology and OEM partners.
- Deliver technical training at the Abloy Academy for the wireless portfolio as needed.
- Support Commercial Product Managers with Voice of the Customer surveys and interviews to inform regional product development requirements.
- Assist regional teams in providing tender returns, commercial proposals, and product demonstrations of the wireless portfolio.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
- Proven track record in integrated Electronic Access Control and Wireless Access Control solutions.
- Experience in designing, implementing, commissioning, and handing over medium to large EAC solutions.
- Experience in commissioning network-based electronic security solutions on customer servers and networks.
