We have a fantastic opportunity to join an award winning Data & AI boutique consultancy which continues to scale. This firm has won multiple awards both for innovation in the AI space, as well as for its culture and working environment. They are looking for a consultant or senior consultant level candidate to help shape the future of data and AI by working with clients to define and implement AI strategies that drive real business impact.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Engage stakeholders to understand their data & AI needs and ensure alignment with strategic business goals
- Create and manage roadmaps for the development and deployment of AI solutions
- Evaluate and recommend technologies that enhance data capabilities in line with business needs
- Running client-facing workshops focused on GenAI use-case discovery and prioritisation
The ideal candidate will come from a data & AI consulting background, and have strong stakeholder management skills. You will also need strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills and be able to identify and address complex data challenges, designing practical, scalable solutions that create value.
From an AI perspective you will need the following experience:
- Commercial awareness of where GenAI can drive value across business functions
- Capability to assess GenAI readiness across data infrastructure, talent, governance, and culture
- Strong understanding of GenAI solution types and when to recommend them (e.g. assistants, summarisation, generation)
- Familiarity with the strengths and limitations of major GenAI platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, open-source LLMs)
- Proficiency in building indicative cost models and advising on ways to optimise usage and spend
- Solid grasp of AI ethics, legal frameworks, and compliance considerations, including UK and EU guidelines
This person can be based anywhere in the UK, but there will be travel for client workshops etc. There would also be times when all the team get together, but likely only once a quarter.
