Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a professional engineering organisation who are seeking a 5 Axis CNC Operator to join their busy Darlaston site. Duties and tasks will include: Set up and operate 5 Axis Hurco’s and a ROEDER using setting sheets. Conversational program, set up and operate Hurco 5-AXIS to produce precise components to specification using WinMax software at the console. Read and interpret engineering drawings. Check your own work using a range of measuring equipment. Completing one offs and batch work. Ensure that production requirements are met in line with the production schedule.Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following: a min of 5 years’ experience of machining with experience in Aerospace desirable. Experience of working on Hurco is essential. An ability to program and work with minimal supervision is a necessity. Experience of 3,2 & 5 Axis Machining Experience of working with graphite would be beneficial.Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 10 hours between 6am and 6pm, Friday is overtime which will be provided on a weeks notice, and parking is available.
