About us: Wifinity was founded in 2007 to solve a problem—our armed forces were struggling with reliable connectivity. While living in barracks, often in remote locations, ordering a landline and booking in an engineer just wasn’t an option. And that problem isn’t exclusive to the military, either. Students living in University accommodation, families visiting holiday resorts, or living in shared accommodation and retirement communities. Conventional home broadband doesn’t always work for them. Wifinity is different. We offer the same benefits as traditional broadband, such as super-fast speeds, WiFi, and secure and private networks, but none of the downsides. We even offer Pay As You Go and flexible contracts, so customers only pay for what they need without hefty penalties or long contract terms. We take the complexity out of connectivity.
The opportunity: You will be responsible for supporting new business development and existing customer growth with Wifinity solutions, whilst working within an exciting sales and design team. You will support our sales team with technical expertise and key requirement gathering, working with the customer to balance those requirements with Wifinity solutions to match commercial appetite. The team's deliverables are to maintain a consistent design led approach to maximise new business sales and existing performance improvements.
Key areas of focus: You will work with other members of the Engineering team and members of the Sales team to help ensure the continued successful delivery of Wifinity solutions to customers. This includes the request and use of appropriate internal resources to meet customer demands. Joining our Pre-sales team you will be involved in the creation of customer facing design principles and their associated costings using our product portfolio; SD-WAN, Enterprise LAN/WLAN, WAN connectivity.
Your day-to-day role will consist of the following responsibilities, you may be required to carry out further responsibilities at the company's discretion:
- Supporting the Sales team with customer interactions in the form of meetings, webinars and customer visits.
- Requirement gathering for new business and existing business development opportunities.
- Supporting the sales process with design principles and costings that can be presented to customers.
- Customer requirement refinement through onsite customer workshops and virtual interactions.
- Supporting creation and delivery of customer facing presentations and technical material to support Wifinity solutions.
- Producing and reviewing high level bill of material documents to support solution delivery.
- Maintaining good industry knowledge of best practices and market trends as well as ongoing knowledge of Wifinity solution vendors and products.
About you: You will be experienced with the ability to work proactively on tasks, understand the full scope of a problem and work to a solution without the need for continuous direction. You value quality, customer interaction, and are able to articulate solutions, demonstrating this in a manner that can be understood by a varied technical audience. This role will be responsible for design approach, product selection, high level commercial recommendations and the presentation of these to customer stakeholders. This position requires a broad knowledge experience of security/firewall estates, wireless Solutions, ISP and MSP services and network design principles. You are comfortable at working within a team and also highly motivated when working on tasks personally. You should be comfortable with UK travel and working remotely, both at home and on location at customer sites. You should find striving to provide an internal customer or external customer driven approach to solutions highly rewarding.
