Ready to take your tech and media law expertise to the next level? This international heavyweight is seeking a Commercial Tech & Media lawyer (4+ PQE) to join its London team. If you’re passionate about cutting-edge technology, complex commercial agreements, and high-profile IP matters, this could be the perfect role for you.
The Role:
- Advising on high-value commercial agreements across technology sectors, including licensing, collaboration, supply, and distribution deals.
- Handling IP-heavy transactions, including tech transfer and licensing, often in collaboration with leading universities, research institutions, and life sciences companies.
- Working on complex IT and telecoms projects, such as outsourcing, software contracts, and emerging areas like FinTech, blockchain, AI, and robotics.
- Providing data protection and GDPR compliance advice to tech clients processing vast amounts of personal data.
- Engaging in business development, client relationships, and marketing events to support the team’s growth.
About You:
- 4+ PQE gained in a top-tier firm or leading in-house team (candidates outside this range may be considered, and New Zealand or Australian-qualified lawyers welcome with minor PQE discount to reflect lack of/shorter training contract);
- Strong commercial, IP, and IT law expertise, with excellent drafting skills.
- Experience managing client relationships and handling high-value transactions.
- A proactive, client-facing lawyer with sound judgment and commercial awareness.
