The Trust and Safety team at Tripadvisor is responsible for all the user generated content that we receive from our members, which is the very core of our travel guidance offering. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced content specialist to join our team as a Lead Content Specialist. As a Lead Content Specialist on our Content Moderation team, you will leverage analytics to identify and moderate content to ensure compliance with guidelines and policies. In this role, you will contribute to projects that refine content moderation processes, foster continuous improvement, and ensure our moderation efforts align with broader business objectives.
What You Will Do:
- Lead moderation projects focused on enhancing the accuracy and eligibility of our published content.
- Implement innovative moderation techniques and tools for improving the reliability of our content.
- Identify, analyse, and moderate content to ensure compliance with guidelines and policies, implementing strategic content improvements.
- Directly contribute to KPIs related to content moderation accuracy, response times, and user satisfaction.
- Regularly report on individual performance metrics and contribute to team goals by identifying areas for improvement in the moderation process.
- Participate in discussions and projects within the Trust & Safety team, focusing on direct contributions to shared objectives and learning from experienced team members.
- Communicate moderation actions and guidelines effectively within the Trust & Safety team, contributing to internal meetings with clear and concise input on daily moderation challenges.
- Produce detailed reports on moderation activities and outcomes.
- Contribute to the internal documentation of moderation processes, ensuring these resources are accurate and easy to understand for team use.
- Use database querying and data analysis skills to track and report on key metrics and analyse content trends.
- Drive execution of projects and product ideas to increase the efficiency of tools, enhance automation, and improve quality using relevant metrics.
- Identify, quantify, and articulate impact and resolutions of bugs and other improvements.
Skills And Experience:
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
- University degree or equivalent experience required.
- Advanced proficiency in user generated content moderation.
- Intermediate data analysis skills.
- Familiarity with tools for tracking and reporting on content moderation effectiveness and efficiency.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across an organization.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire others.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of multiple languages a plus.
