We are on the search for a Completions Officer, who can actively manage a mortgage case pipeline, ensuring timely completions are delivered, with exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a pipeline of mortgage applications following the issue of offer through to completion
  • Providing accurate and detailed instructions to the legal panel and other third-parties
  • Liaising with surveyors to obtain necessary information
  • Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with brokers and legal experts
  • Ensuring active monitoring of pipeline and updating and/or chasing relevant parties as necessary
  • Reviewing all legal correspondence and drafting professional responses on behalf of the business
  • Managing the KYC and AML requirements and ensuring authorisation prior to completion
  • Ensuring all necessary post-completion documentation is received and held on the appropriate system
  • Raising payment requests

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong academic background with at least five GCSEs, including English and Maths, at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable experience within a commercial mortgage lender, or similar
  • Demonstrable experience working in a commercial mortgage role such as completions, servicing or collections, or similar
  • Exceptional computer literacy skills which include the Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
