An established business in West Yorkshire is looking to recruit an experienced Recruitment Manager to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. You will oversee the recruitment team, seeking solutions to proactively source candidates and run specialised recruitment campaigns, attending careers events and utilising social media to ensure new and innovative methods of candidate attraction. Within this role, you will ensure the team utilises the Applicant Tracking System and Job Boards to their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Ensure team members move candidates through the process in a timely manner.
- Build key stakeholder relationships within the People team.
- Keep all relevant recruitment information up to date.
- Develop ideas to ensure that the business is an employer of choice.
- Keep up to date with salary surveys and advise hiring managers regarding the labour market.
- Assist in writing job descriptions, advertisements and ensure the team utilises the applicant tracking system/job boards effectively.
- Support with candidate interviews and advise hiring managers when necessary.
- Assist with large scale recruitment projects, events and campaigns.
- Manage the PSL to ensure we are getting the best service from external suppliers.
Person Specification
- Must have demonstrable experience of recruiting at all levels as well as strong interviewing and interpersonal skills with a disciplined approach to systems and administration.
- Must have experience managing a team.
- Ability to suggest new means of candidate attraction via social media, recruitment campaigns, assessment centres and careers events.
- Excellent working knowledge of Employment Law within recruitment and right to work.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and respond to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency.
