A leading ranked national firm is recruiting for a Private Client/ Private Wealth Partner to join their team in London and to lead the team development at this office, benefitting from a very wide referral network firm-wide.
This multi-award winning firm ranks top 50 in the Legal 500 and has a great reputation for delivering high quality advice and results for clients. The firm has won a host of regional and national accolades in recent years including The Times best Law Firm.
The firm’s approach of knowing and understanding its clients and building value means they are able to build strong lasting relationships with clients, and provide practical and often bespoke solutions. The firm’s clients include international and UK corporations, FTSE/AIM companies, regional businesses, institutions, public bodies and high-net-worth individuals.
The team is 50 strong and spread across London and regional offices. For 15 consecutive years the firm’s Trusts, Estate and Tax lawyers have secured a Tier 1 ranking in the UK’s leading legal directory, Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide. The firm trusts their people to work flexibly in the way that works best for them, their teams and their clients.
About the role: The team covers a range of matters for high and ultra-high net worth clients. They have specialists in all areas of trusts, estates and tax with members of the team advising clients with international, agricultural, literary, business and other assets. Directors and Partners all specialise in particular areas, including acting as independent administrators in high net worth contested estates, advising on complex mental capacity issues, administering cross-border estates and advising agricultural clients. The team is recognised for its ability to work flexibly to find solutions.
One example of this is the firm’s Private Wealth Initiative in which members of the Corporate and TET teams work together to build succession and tax plans for business owners. You will work closely with the Trusts, Estate and Tax team together with the other Private Client Services Partners and more generally across the firm, benefitting from this wide referral network.
You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful team and be able to mentor and oversee the work of junior lawyers and help them to progress in their careers, whilst at the same time developing new business. This role will give you the opportunity to develop and really make your mark on a team as head of private client.
