We are on the lookout for a driven and experienced Venue Account Executive to help power our next phase of growth. This is your chance to be part of a company with a standout culture and a bold mission to reshape the events industry through creativity, innovation, and shared success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of our Concierge service—handling a mixture of inbound enquiries and proactively sourced leads.
- Harvest potential corporate and event production clients to book through you.
- Help shape this service from the ground up, with the goal of building a dedicated team as we grow.
- Lead our Partnerships strategy—building relationships with the UK’s leading event production companies, PR agencies, and corporates.
- Ensure venues are fully optimised on our platform and converting their event leads into bookings.
- Build strong relationships with clients, guiding them through onboarding and regular performance reviews.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts—onboarding, optimising, and driving bookings.
- Represent Canvas at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to identify upsell opportunities.
- Proactively generate new leads and event enquiries by nurturing your network and expanding partnerships.
- Own a revenue target and help build out the service.
- Take ownership of projects to scale this service.
- Market the service effectively, including gathering reviews and testimonials from clients.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in venue finding, sales, account management, or a similar events role.
- A degree in event management is a bonus, but not essential.
- Ideally have an existing network of event bookers and industry contacts (not essential).
- Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with stakeholders.
- Growth mindset - keen to lead projects, take initiative, and keep learning.
- Confident using a CRM system – Hubspot or Monday ideally.
