We are excited to be recruiting for a PDI Motor Vehicle Technician. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups.
As a PDI Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle health checks, MOT's and servicing a range of products in accordance with work specifications. Representing a variety of manufacturers and carrying out work on a diverse range of vehicles and models, you will take great pride in your work, taking complete ownership of your customers and completing your jobs to the highest standard.
You will be working in an industry-leading workshop boasting state of the art facilities. Through both in house and manufacturer training, you will be given full support and development enabling you to reach your full potential. You will also be responsible for delivering the highest level of customer experience that exceeds our customers' expectations.

An average day as a PDI Motor Vehicle Technician involves:
- Through the use of a systematic approach, ensure vehicle defects are checked and rectified.
- Meet with customers (Sales / Retail) to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required.
- Be able to accurately provide estimates for repairs to ensure all sales vehicles are prepared to our retail standards.
- Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
- Carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
- Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road testing vehicles after work has been carried out.
- Liaise with Workshop Controller when required.
- Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDIs, service reports) in line with manufacture, warranty and dealer requirements.
- Accurately complete vehicle health checks, job cards and reports, including any written descriptions of faults found or repairs completed.
About you:
- We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the Automotive sector within a technical role.
- As a minimum, you will be qualified to Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- You will have fantastic communication skills and thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
- Hold an MOT licence.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Willing to attend manufacturer training.
- Be competent in using ICT, Maths and English.
