Air Conditioning Engineer / Chiller Engineer

Our client specializes in the service & maintenance of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & chiller units throughout the U.K, with multiple offices across the country. They are seeking an experienced air conditioning / chiller engineer to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities

  • Service & maintain various air conditioning systems such as VRV, VRF, and splits.
  • Carry out servicing works on Water Chillers and air-cooled chillers.
  • Work at diverse sites including data centres, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions.

Requirements

  • Hold F-Gas Cat 1 certification.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in air conditioning and refrigeration.
  • Electrical qualifications are highly advantageous.
  • Experience servicing air conditioning systems and AHUs.
  • Experience with Water Chiller units is highly desirable.
  • Based within a commutable distance to Reading.
  • Full driving license.

Benefits

  • Basic salary between £35,000 and £52,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Company vehicle provided, with optional personal use.
  • 25 days\’ holiday plus Bank Holidays.
  • 40-hour workweek, with paid travel after 30 minutes each way.
  • Overtime paid at additional rates (1.5x and 2x).
  • On-call rota, 1 in 10 weeks.
