Our leading client based in South Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced Head of IT / Infrastructure Manager to oversee and advance their complex and high-performance IT environment. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a technically proficient individual who thrives in a dynamic infrastructure setting. You will manage a small, skilled team while playing a pivotal role in the strategic planning and ongoing development of the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
  • Investigate, resolve, and document technical incidents and service interruptions.
  • Deliver detailed reporting and strategic recommendations on infrastructure improvements and future direction.
  • Generate and present customer-facing reports, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds SLA commitments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business continuity and growth.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco networking hardware (firewalls, routers, switches).
  • Familiarity with web hosting environments and Microsoft IIS.
  • A broad understanding of enterprise-grade infrastructure and the ability to troubleshoot and optimise complex systems.

Additional Information:
