As part of a large digital transformation, my client is looking to implement a new EMAR system and integrate this with existing platforms. They require a business analyst to join the team to lead this project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis activities across complex digital transformation projects related to medication management.
- Participate in the EMAR/EPMA vendor/system selection process.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes to enable both quick wins in process optimisations and longer-term transformative changes.
- Create end-to-end customer, staff, and supplier journeys and support the definition of the Target Operating Model.
- Develop detailed process maps, data flow diagrams, and system integration models.
- Create comprehensive business and functional specifications for all solutions.
- Collaborate with IT architects to design and implement innovative digital solutions.
- Utilise data analytics and visualisation tools to provide actionable insights.
- Apply an end-to-end systems thinking approach to ensure all process interactions and integrations can be achieved.
- Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Create training plans and documentation as required.
- Participate in the ITT process and procuring solutions through the definition of high and low-level requirements.
- Create 'as is', 'to be', and gap analysis for agreed processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in at least 1 EPMA/EMAR implementation project including vendor selection, implementation, and training.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on digital transformation projects.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel - advanced, PowerPoint, Visio - advanced).
- Experience with data mapping, system integrations, and IT architecture analysis.
- Expertise in process mapping and modelling, including BPMN.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and digital platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in managing small projects.
Preferred Certifications:
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) or CCBA (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis).
- CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner).
