We are working with a leading manufacturing business in Cambridge who are looking to add an Assembly Operator to their growing team. The Role:
As an Assembly Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth production of mechanical and electronic components. Working as part of a cooperative production team, you will contribute to meeting daily targets, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electronic products using provided tools, instructions, and work orders
- Follow all health and safety and environmental protocols
- Work to standard operating procedures and encourage team compliance
- Keep production records and systems updated accurately
- Carry out tool checks and report any maintenance requirements
- Resolve part or process issues as they arise
- Support new product introductions and continuous improvement projects
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives
- Train to set up assembly equipment as required
- Work with flexibility across tasks as needed by the management team
Working Hours & Benefits:
- Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
