I’m currently representing a well-known FTSE listed business based in the heart of Birmingham City Centre who operate a flexible hybrid working pattern. Due to an extremely busy and prosperous year they are looking for an interim Senior Financial Accountant to join the business on a contractual basis.
The position will be reporting directly into the Head of Group Reporting. You’ll be part of a brilliant, capable team who are always looking to progress and push the business forward. You will play a key role in managing the company's financial operations, statutory reporting, IFRS agreements, process improvement and completing ad hoc analytical work.
Key responsibilities:- Preparation of annual statutory accounts, working alongside the Head of Group Reporting.
- Ensuring reporting is delivered in time and in line with all current regulatory standards.
- Reconciliation of main balance sheets.
- Perform checks of various financial data (CFO report, CEO report, Investor presentations).
- Post-qualified (ACA, ACCA) with a good amount of experience within group financial reporting and IFRS.
- Strong technical accounting skills with experience in a similar all-round reporting position.
- Knowledge of UK GAAP with high quality data manipulation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate to other areas of the business.
