We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented Customs Coordinator to join our fast-paced freight forwarding team. In this role, you’ll ensure smooth and compliant customs clearances for import shipments for a 12 month maternity cover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit accurate customs declarations (import)
  • Ensure HMRC and regulatory compliance
  • Handle procedures such as IPR/OPR, AEO, and licensing
  • Liaise with internal teams and occasionally customers
  • Track shipments and resolve customs delays
  • Maintain records and support audits
  • Use ASM Sequoia and other customs platforms

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in customs clearance or freight forwarding
  • Strong knowledge of UK customs procedures
  • Familiarity with ASM Sequoia, CHIEF, or CDS
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
