Micheldever Tyre Services is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Warehouse Administrator – a team player with excellent attention to detail. Reporting to the Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for producing, preparing and actioning all documentation that goes out with, and returns with, drivers for both the morning and afternoon runs. You will also be responsible for completing driver de-briefs to ensure all data required for internal reporting is collected accurately and ensure key information is communicated to drivers.

Location: Elland, Halifax

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 10am to 7.30pm, Friday 9.00am to 6.30pm

Must Have: Experience in an administrative role

About the role:

  • Complete driver de-briefs to ensure all data required for internal reporting is collected accurately and ensure key information is communicated to drivers.
  • Liaise with various departments within the depot, container docks and other company warehouses to ensure deliveries and collections are booked.
  • Ensure the efficient and accurate management of Tachograph Downloading.
  • General administration tasks including the KPI input for the transport department.
  • Assisting the sales department with queries, depot uniform and stationery requisitions.
  • Ensure Customer Collections from Site are dealt with promptly, politely and efficiently.
  • Ensure any returned goods are processed promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure customers are dealt with in a manner that portrays a professional image.

About you:

  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Experience within a warehouse / fast paced environment is an advantage but not essential
  • Adaptability and an ability to think on your feet
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
  • Understanding Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous but not essential
