Summary of the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and committed Teacher of Product Design for a full-time maternity cover role beginning in September 2025.   • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Support students through the design process, including research, planning, prototyping, and evaluation.
  • Mark and assess student work, providing regular feedback and tracking progress.
  • Develop and update schemes of learning in line with departmental goals.

  • Monitor and manage student health and safety in all practical sessions.
  • Prepare students for internal and external assessments.
