Location: Bristol
We are seeking several IT Solution Architects to join our team in Bristol. As an IT Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering complex end-to-end solutions using a variety of applications and technologies within the supply chain management domain. This role will ensure that the solution architecture meets the key project functional and non-functional requirements identified for the LCST programme. The IT Solution Architect will lead the solution development through all phases of the delivery lifecycle, from requirements capture, high-level design, low-level design, development, into the release, and solution sustainment phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Architect in design decisions including solution evaluation, platform selection, and ensuring compliance with all design principles, architecture frameworks, and standards.
- Participate in customer and stakeholder meetings and technical discussions.
Skills Required:
- Experience as a Solution Architect on large, complex projects.
- Ability to produce cross-domain architecture deliverables, such as proposal designs and interface specifications.
- Experience with bespoke and COTS applications.
- Knowledge of integration technologies like SOA, ESBs, EAI, XML, Web Services, MQ.
- Experience with large-scale, distributed, event-driven architectures.
- Cloud experience, particularly with AWS or similar.
- Strong collaboration skills within multi-supplier environments.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and technical skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree or extensive related experience.
- Experience with logistics and supply chain management solutions, including systems like WMS, TMS, OMS, Inventory, ERP, Procurement, Data & Analytics systems.
Desirable: TOGAF/MODAF, Archimate, CMMI Level 3 environment experience.
Clearance Requirements:
- BPSS pre-screening required.
- SC clearance required for role.
