Description

Law Business Research is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to oversee and enhance our cybersecurity posture. The role involves managing security across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Sentinel environments, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures to protect our digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee security of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Sentinel environments.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis.
• Monitor security events and lead incident response efforts.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Collaborate with IT teams on security solutions and controls.
• Provide security training and awareness programs for staff.
• Manage security incidents from detection to resolution.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and trends.
• Coordinate security projects with the Head of IT.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in information security, focusing on Microsoft 365, Azure, and Sentinel.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards like ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with network devices, VPNs, VLANs.
• Proven incident management experience.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Information Security Manager.
• Preferred certifications: Security+, Microsoft Azure Sentinel 200, and a funded Microsoft Azure Sentinel 400 course.
