Location: Cambridge (CB25) Duration: Permanent Hours: 8am until 4:30pm (Monday to Friday) Salary: £80,000 to £85,000 Job Reference: 35194 Polytec are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer specialising in Analogue / Power for our client based just north of Cambridge. You will be involved in the whole lifecycle of product development from concept and prototype stages, through to production and support. Responsibilities: * Requirements analysis and understanding including liaison with stakeholders * Technical design and specification of digital and analogue circuitry – Subsystem design and implementation – Integration with RF, Audio and MMI subsystems – Component specification and sourcing – Design, integration and test documentation – Definition, implementation and supervision of PCB layout rules and constraints * Resolution of design and integration issues * Interaction with the SW team at device driver level (especially during bring-up phases) * Type approval support * Production technical support *Technical support to end customers Requirements: * Demonstrable experience leading and owning the design of electronic systems * Strong background in electronics design from initial concept, specification through to software and systems integration, test, and manufacture * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills along with the ability to mentor less experienced engineers * Ability to work in a small, focused team against tight deadlines * Willingness to continually learn Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below
