Senior Works Manager – Major Infrastructure Project – Plymouth Randstad are recruiting for an experienced Senior Works Manager to join a major infrastructure project at Devonport Docks in Plymouth. This is a contract role offering a competitive rate and the opportunity to work on a critical project within a leading joint venture. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of construction operations on a specific section of the project, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Lead and manage a team of site staff, including engineers, supervisors, and operatives, providing guidance and support. Implement and maintain safety procedures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Identify and manage potential risks and issues, proposing solutions and corrective actions. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and safety records. * Work closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to ensure project goals are met effectively.
