Reading – Controls Engineer £45,000-£55,000 My client is a leading provider in automation and communications technology solutions and are looking for a Controls Engineer. They are a leader in designing and providing automation and communication technologies across a range of industries and are looking for a dynamic Controls Engineer to join their growing team! Main Duties: * Design, implement and develop different Control Systems using PLCs * Troubleshoot and write different programs using Structured Text Languages * Be available on different sites to assist in the installation and commissioning of diverse Control Systems * Collaborate with a range of technical teams to solve technical issues * Be able to ensure Health and Safety Standards are met and upheld Skills and Experience Required: * Working experience with PLC programming * Experience with Structured Text Language * Experience with the installation and commissioning of different systems * Experience with Seimens TIA Portal * HMI/SCADA Experience is an advantage, but not essential The salary for this position will be circa £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience.
