This is an exciting opportunity to join my leading industry client who is looking for an experienced asbestos surveyor. Our client is an ambitious, relatively new company that is experiencing substantial growth in all sectors due to the quality and exceptional customer service offered. As a flexible, modern consultancy, they continue to deliver exceptional service to clients using the latest equipment, working practices, and technology.
Ideally, you will be an experienced Asbestos Surveyor that holds the BOHS P402 or P403 certificate (or other alternative recognised certification).
Key responsibilities of the Asbestos Consultant:- Carrying out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and building inspection
- Compliance with all relevant legislation
- Develop, maintain and build client relationships
- Visual inspection & 4 stage clearance procedures
- Collection of factual and numerical data via tablet device
One plus years pre-existing experience of work within the asbestos consultancy industry is essential, and any academic or vocational qualifications are highly desirable. As a minimum, you must have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and knowledge of current legislation
- Minimum 1 year relevant field experience
- Working with handheld tablets
- Hands-on experience of using tools and technical equipment (including IT)
You must hold a full UK driving licence. Company vehicle/mobile phone provided. Uniform. 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Access to additional training for further qualifications. Excellent opportunities and support for career progression.
