I'm working with a high-growth logistics organisation in Manchester to recruit a Finance Manager who’s ready to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, commercial environment, managing a high-performing finance team and playing a pivotal role in business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
- Produce accurate and insightful management accounts and financial reports
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Management Accountants
- Oversee day-to-day management accounting and compliance
- Business partner with operational teams to drive performance and profitability
- Support and challenge budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
About:
- Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant
- Experience managing or mentoring a finance team
- Commercially focused, with the ability to influence operational decision-making
- Ideally experienced within logistics, supply chain or fast-paced environments (not essential)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
