The role of the Project Engineer Temporary Works will involve:

  • Leading and managing temporary works design, particularly for formwork and falsework structures
  • Liaising with Tier 1s including: Kier, Laing O'Rourke, Skanska, Bam Nuttall, Ground Construction Ltd, Munnings etc
  • Producing and reviewing detailed drawings and ensuring compliance with relevant standards
  • Liaising regularly with the sales team to ensure the design brief is followed
  • Carrying out and verifying structural calculations
  • Working collaboratively with site teams, designers and subcontractors to implement safe and efficient temporary works

The ideal applicant will be a Project Engineer Temporary Works with:

  • Design Engineer / Project Engineer experience within the infrastructure temporary works market sector
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD / Revit
  • A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Familiarity with determining maximum bend moments, shear and deflection
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
