The predicted salary is between 130000 - 190000 £ per year.
Location: Salford Quays - 3 to 4 days per week
Salary: £150,000 to £170,000 per annum

We are actively looking to secure a Head of People Services to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients. Experis Consultancy is a Global entity with a well-established team with over 1000 consultants on assignment across 20 clients globally. To support the successful delivery of a complex business system change programme across UK Defence. Responsible for the delivery of capability, its effective and efficient roll-out, the adoption of change and realisation of benefits.
The role has 4 key components:
- Lead an effective People Services operation providing people services across the business in the most effective way.
- Lead and develop a high performing, engaged and motivated team.
- Drive the colleague and line manager experience through clearly defined and optimised people processes (establishing process owners) and the effective management/deployment of the MyHR system and the supporting architecture.
- Define and deliver the future roadmap in partnership with the business and D&T to deliver business goals and further transform the colleague experience.
Key Qualities & Experience
- Large scale shared service operation 60,000 employees plus
- Retail experience or experience with diverse Colleague groups eg Stores, Support Centres (Head Office) and Distribution centres would be an advantage. Being 'close to our Colleagues and Customers' is at the heart of the business
- Proven track record in leading and establishing outsourcing and offshoring partnerships
- Big leader - experience of leading and motivating large teams
- Ability to set out a strategic vision and the transformation steps to get there (mix of strategic thinking & willingness to roll their sleeves up and get into the detail where needed)
- Willing to challenge, provide subject matter expertise and influence at a senior level
- Credible communicator (verbal and written), who is able to energise, engage and inspire others
