We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic and high-performing team based in Broughton. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical capabilities, effective stakeholder management experience, and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset.
Location: Broughton
Contract Duration: 8 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Support central controlling teams in driving the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes across all business units.
- Collaborate with local business and operational managers to define and propose improvement projects for inclusion in budget assumptions, validating financial data including sizing, ROI, and business cases.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Challenge and support operational performance, advising management on financial matters and driving mitigation actions and performance improvements.
- Participate in the evaluation of business cases and proposals for operational investments and improvement initiatives.
- Conduct financial controlling activities across key categories including Recurring Cost, Inventory, Non-Recurring Cost, and Capex (Jigs/Tools as required).
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred) with at least 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in a manufacturing or commercial environment.
- SAP or equivalent financial reporting/ERP systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a positive attitude.
- Good stakeholder management skills.
