Smartax Consultancy Limited is a family run Accountancy business looking for a female applicant studying or recently finished an Accounting, Finance or Business Administration degree. A successful, serious and loyal applicant with serious goals for the next 2 to 5 years will be given suitable training and skilled worker sponsorship if required. Remote working and use of personal mobile during working hours won't be allowed for this job. Official office working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Main roles and responsibilities are as follows:
- Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing, printing and scanning.
- Scheduling client appointments and managing important departmental deadlines.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed client records and creating new client files.
- Assisting with managing Payroll data to process month end Payroll filling for various clients.
- Supporting and managing HR records for various clients on Bright HR.
- Updating clients records on Xero and IRIS Accounts elements software.
- Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations on Xero.
- Preparing and entering journals into the system once trained.
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties once trained.
- Analysing bank statements to prepare Trial balance using Pivot table, once trained.
- Keeping records and updating clients profile with NEST Pension provider.
- Answering clients and employees queries via email related to Payroll, accounts, and HR.
