WeDoData are working with a highly regarded multi academy trust in Berkshire who have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to join their supportive and inclusive community. This is an exceptional MAT who are growing and looking to acquire several new schools within the next couple of years so it’s a great time to get a foot in the door with this organisation as there will be plenty of scope to develop and progress as the trust expands.
This role would suit someone who has been working in finance in education for the past 2-3 years, looking for a step up to a mid-level role with lots of opportunity to develop within a close-knit, growing team. The postholder will report to the Finance Controller, who reports directly to the Director of Finance.
The post is being offered with full time hours, working all year round, with generous holiday entitlement and a local government pension scheme (LGPS).
The successful candidate must have:
- 3 years experience working in finance in an educational setting
- Part qualified accountant status across a recognised accountancy body (desirable at this level)
- Experience of using SAGE 200 as well as other recognised ledger packages (desirable)
- Exceptional communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Full Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)

- Relevant experience working in finance at trust level
