We’re hiring an Engineering Technician to join our Coventry-based production team. You'll operate and maintain key equipment (flow wrappers, multi-head weighers, conveyors, automated packing lines), resolve breakdowns, and ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities of an Engineering Technician:
- Operate, monitor, and adjust machinery to meet production targets
- Diagnose and fix technical issues to minimise downtime
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning to prevent breakdowns
- Support and train shift team members to optimise performance
- Work with Engineering on asset care and performance improvements
- Log issues and use Redzone to track production activity
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
- Follow all health & safety and quality standards
The Ideal Engineering Technician will have:
- Technical/engineering experience in food, FMCG, or manufacturing
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Familiar with Redzone or similar digital systems
- Team player with a proactive mindset and attention to detail
