Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage monthly reporting, forecasting, and financial governance frameworks.
- Partner closely with Strategic Programme leadership and overhead function heads.
- Analyse financial data to uncover performance insights and improvement opportunities.
- Build financial models to evaluate scenarios and support key decision-making.
- Ensure accurate accounting treatment of operating costs and capital expenditures.
- Draft and document processes to support financial control and compliance.
- Provide senior-level financial insights to support group consolidation.
Profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong academic background and a knack for simplifying complex financial concepts.
- You thrive in environments of change and bring a proactive, collaborative spirit to everything you do.
- Analytical and creative, with the confidence to work independently and the communication skills to influence at senior levels.
- Experience in liquidity management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Python, or automation tools is a plus.
- Prior exposure to engineering or construction sectors is considered desirable.
On Offer: £55k - £75k basic salary, Car allowance, 6 Month FTC.
