Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage monthly reporting, forecasting, and financial governance frameworks.
  • Partner closely with Strategic Programme leadership and overhead function heads.
  • Analyse financial data to uncover performance insights and improvement opportunities.
  • Build financial models to evaluate scenarios and support key decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate accounting treatment of operating costs and capital expenditures.
  • Draft and document processes to support financial control and compliance.
  • Provide senior-level financial insights to support group consolidation.

Profile:

  • Qualified Accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong academic background and a knack for simplifying complex financial concepts.
  • You thrive in environments of change and bring a proactive, collaborative spirit to everything you do.
  • Analytical and creative, with the confidence to work independently and the communication skills to influence at senior levels.
  • Experience in liquidity management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Python, or automation tools is a plus.
  • Prior exposure to engineering or construction sectors is considered desirable.

On Offer: £55k - £75k basic salary, Car allowance, 6 Month FTC.
