The Talent Set are delighted to be working with a fantastic health charity to recruit some newly created roles within their growing fundraising team:
- Supporter Engagement Officer
- Community Engagement Officer
These roles are pivotal in delivering inspiring engagement experiences and building long-term relationships with the charity’s incredible supporters. You’ll play a key role in stewarding donors and fundraisers, promoting high-value campaigns and regular giving programmes, and ensuring the supporter experience is thoughtful, timely and engaging.
About the Roles:
As Supporter Engagement Officer, you will:
- Engage, steward and support a broad portfolio of individual supporters and fundraisers.
- Manage timely, tailored thank yous and impact updates.
- Help develop the individual giving pipeline and support on insights, reporting and supporter journey planning.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across fundraising, communications and beyond.
As Community Engagement Officer, you will:
- Be the first point of contact for community and third-party fundraisers.
- Support planning and delivery of our annual matched-funding and recurring giving campaigns.
- Oversee Community Support Volunteers and ensure timely distribution of fundraising materials.
- Promote community fundraising campaigns across diverse audiences and grow sustainable income.
Key Shared Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent supporter care via phone, email, social and face-to-face interactions.
- Maintain accurate and timely data within our supporter database.
- Work closely with marcomms to ensure campaigns and touchpoints are current and engaging.
- Help build compelling supporter journeys that deepen connection and increase long-term support.
Person Specification:
- Experience in Supporter Care, Individual Giving, or Community Fundraising (or transferable skills from other sectors).
- Comfortable using databases to support tailored and engaging supporter experiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for building relationships.
- Collaborative, proactive and keen to make a difference to a growing programme.
- Familiarity with social media, community engagement or campaign promotion is a plus.
