Experience Required
- Proven experience in business analysis gained within the insurance/financial services industry, working with highly transactional digital platforms
- Experience in defining APIs and technical business processes
- Detailed understanding of API design principles and exposure to associated technologies
- Working knowledge of API management tools, middleware (Mulesoft), and integration platforms
- Appreciation and understanding of API design standards and technologies (e.g. JSON, XML, Swagger, RAML). Hands-on coding experience is not required
- Ability to utilise API testing tools such as Postman and SOAPUI to ensure solution integrity
- Ability to break down high-level business requirements into epics and user stories (BDD & TDD)
- Ability to capture, analyse, and elicit business requirements to create detailed technical business processes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and maintain a customer-focused approach
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools
- Experience of leading BA delivery on complex projects or programmes circa £1m budget
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders, end clients and external suppliers
- Ability to work within high-performing virtual teams
