Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Fine Jewellery Manager to lead the commercial and operational performance of a key location within a prestigious retail environment. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in developing the fine jewellery and watches category.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of luxury retail, and an unwavering focus on delivering world-class customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Drive overall sales performance and client engagement within the department.
- Implement tailored in-store client experiences and events to attract and retain high-value customers.
- Lead CRM initiatives, new client acquisition strategies, and customer retention efforts.
- Participate in high-end networking events and track business development outcomes.
- Mentor and support team members in client development and relationship-building.
- Ensure premium visual merchandising standards are maintained.
- Work closely with product and planning teams to manage inventory and product availability.
- Monitor key lines and ensure top-performing products are consistently replenished.
- Maintain full understanding of back-office procedures, including reporting, store operations, and loss prevention.
- Control shrinkage and oversee stock audit processes.
- Adhere to company policies around cash handling, authorisations, and internal compliance protocols.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of high-performing sales associates and specialists.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and identify team members for development.
- Motivate and inspire the team through daily briefings and goal-setting.
- Uphold exceptional standards of presentation, grooming, and customer service across the team.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety policies, store procedures, and operational best practices.
- Participate in stock takes and out-of-hours business activities when required.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in luxury retail, preferably with a focus on fine jewellery and/or watches.
- Proven ability to lead a high-performing team and exceed sales targets.
- Strong clienteling skills and experience managing VIP or HNW customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and business acumen.
